Wershoven published in Leipzig by Schmidt & Gunther. 2 x 1 1/2 x 1/2 inches. A miniature orange English - German dictionary. Burt Wolf, the donor, is the son of Mollie Shapiro of the Shapiro House. This dictionary was once owned by Mollie Shapiro. Mollie Shapiro childhood home is now the Shapiro House at Strawbery Banke Museum. The Shapiro House was built in 1795, and has been restored by the museum to 1919. The Shapiros, a Russian Jewish family from Ukraine, owned the house from 1909 to 1928. Abraham, Sarah, and their
