Description Tan checked silk taffeta with sea-green bands. Banding set on diagonal on bodice creating V-pattern across chest. Skirt banding vertical. V-neckline with no collar. Back closure with 15 hooks (10 steel, 5 brass) & 15 eyes (11 steel, 3 brass, 1 MIA). Dropped shoulders with jagged caps edged with green-pink-beige silk cord. Narrow long sleeves. Cuffs with same jagged edge & silk cording. Slightly pointed waist in front with V-tucks at chest gathering into shoulders. Bodice not boned. Bodice & sleeves lined with glazed tan cotton. Bossom padded with cotton. Skirt tightly gathered all around, sewn directly onto bodice. Skirt lined with detached tan cotton. 3 horizontal pleats half way down skirt. Vertical pleat down front with same silk cording down center. Seams piped. Hand sewn.
