Description H/57 1/4”; W/18 1/4”. Green & brown plaid silk taffeta. Round high neckline with no collar. Front closure with 8 black fabric covered buttons. Dropped shoulder with long full sleeves, tight at wrists which have slit & 1 black metal hook & thread eye. Wrists edged with white ruffle. Straight waist. Bodice boned & lined with tan cotton. Underarm protectors attached to lining. Box pleated skirt sewn directly to bodice. Skirt slightly longer in back. Skirt unlined except at hem, which is lined with tan cotton. Hem of skirt edged with brown wool tape. 1 pocket on right side. Seams pleated. Hand sewn.
