Description 1) h=18 1/2; w=17 1/4; 2) h=40 1/2; w=12 1/4. Silk taffeta plaid with brown, blue, black, & tan. 1) Bodice: round neck, no collar. Front closure with 14 brass hooks & eyes. Dropped shoulders with epaulettes. Long pagoda sleeves, not extremely wide. Epaulettes & sleeve openings trimmed with wide heavy gold-yellow band of lace. Interior lined with heavy brown cotton. 6 stays. 2) Skirt: sewn into brown linen tape waistband, tightly gathered. Lined with glazed brown cotton. No closure present. Piped seams. Hand sewn.
