Description Pair of foot warmers with rectangular wooden frames around a pierced tin warming box. Mortise and tenon joints hold top and bottom frame elements together. The turned corner posts are through tenoned to the top and bottom frame. A small wire bail handle is held to the top of the frame by two wire loops driven through the wood. The six-sided tin box has a solid bottom, and pierced top and sides. The sides are pierced in the pattern of a heart with a large hole in the center, surrounded by a circle. The top has six rows of pierced holes; one has larger holes, grouped in pairs. The front has a hinged door with a metal loop on one side which acts as a fastener.
