Description 3 3/4 x 6 1/8 x 3 3/8”, Earthenware, pearlware, Pearlware tea canister with an oval body and round, flat lid, decorated with pink luster. On the front is a black transfer three-masted ship under sail with “THREE BROTHERS” printed below. On the reverse in black within a floral wreath is the poem “The Sailor’s Farewell,” which reads: “Far from home across the sea / to foreign climes I go / While far away O think of me / and I’ll remember you.”
