Object Name Gown

Description White “spotted” muslin or mull gown, embroidered with dots spaced about 1” apart in diagonal rows, square neckline with drawstring short waistand shsort skirt, short cap sleeves have drawstrings at bottom - been lengthened with attached narrow sleeves in same fabric - wrist buttons. Skirt hem is decorated with s string of 3/8” white cotton balls. Dress is entirely handsewn.
Silk taffeta underdress is similar in design and construction as the dress.
