Description Silk, cotton. Full-length dress of off-white silk moiree with fitted, heavily boned bodice with V-shaped neckline and waistline dropping to a point in front. Bodice has “S” bands of crossed pleating at center front and diagonal pleats covering padded bosom. Vertical pleats in the area below. The short sleeves has 3 rows of horizontal pleats. Neckline, waist and armseye have 2 rows of piping. The back is plain except for shaping darts and a center opening having brass hooks and eye closure. Full skirt is undecorated and gathered into tiny pleats stitched onto waistband. Pair of what appears to be extra sleeves are included in gift. Bodice lined in cambric.
