Description H/58”; W/17: Cobalt blue, white, & black plaid silk taffeta. Narrow V-neckline. Front closure with 12 brass hooks & eyes. 10 sets of 2 suspended blue silk covered acorns down length of closure. Elbow-length bell sleeves with dropped shoulders. Sleeve openings trimmed with black & blue silk fringe. Tops of sleeves ruched. Sleeve openings lined with white silk. Bodice with pointed front & back. Boned bodice lined with tan glazed cotton. Skirt sewn directly to bodice. Fullness of skirt achieved by box-pleating. Skirt lined with tan glazed cotton. Inside of skirt hem lined with blue glazed cotton. Hand sewn.
