Description 67 1/2”. This is a one piece, teal coloured, silk dress. The main fabric is woven in a basket weave design accented with a smoother satin weave fabric. The bodice has a high neck, rounded collar and modified bretelle . There is a 15 button front closure with the lower buttons disappearing under an overlapping asymmetrical skirt panel. The sleeves are slightly gathered at the cap and feature ice cream cone shaped panels of the satin at the top of each shoulder. The sleeve cuffs are “v” cut. The skirt bottom is pleated in the front while the sides and back are pleated basket weave over pleated satin. The back is gathered in wide pleats for bustle fullness and cut in an oval scoop. The dress lining is of different colours of linen including brown and greenish brown. There is green seam tape sewn onto the lining hem.
