Description H/58 1/2”; W/19 3/4”. Brown striped moire (watered silk) with vertical bands of solid chocolate brown alternating with gray & brown pin-striped bands separated by narrow red-white-green bands. Groups of 3 narrow white bands appear horizontally at great intervals. 2 High round neckline with no collar. Front closure with 17 brass hooks & 18 eyes plus 1 large silvery metal hook at waist. Dropped shoulders with bell sleeves with zig-zagged brown & green trim half way down cuffs & along opening. Trim secured with large brown velvet covered buttons. Cuffs lined with brown silk satin. 3 rows of same buttons decorate front of bodice forming V-shape with additional band running down center. Bodice boned. Lined with tan cotton. Skirt attached to bodice. Box pleated. Not lined. 1 pocket on right side. Piped seams. Hand sewn.
