Description 5 x 5 7/8 x 4 3/8”, Earthenware. Butter tub (.a) and cover (.b) with a white body and yellow lead glaze. The body is in the form of a tub; sides are molded with a rice pattern derived from salt-glazed stoneware. The lid has a finial in the form of a goat. Both pieces are decorated with metallic oxides in gray, yellow, and green.
