Object Name Quilt

Description This quilt is a wholecloth blue calimanco-type top or a Linsey-Woolsey-type with a tan backing. The pattern contains four parallel lines forming a diamond shape with alternating floral and geometric motifs in each section. There is a strip measured at eleven inches wide added to one end of the quilt. This piece is seven inches longer than the rest of the quilt. During the Colonial Revival, this quilt was cut in half for two twin beds or daybeds.
