Description 44 x 26 3/8 x 21 3/8”, Mahogany, maple, pine. Lolling chair in original black horsehair upholstery with cast brass nails. The back has a serpentine crest, the arms are shaped and on curved uprights. The seat front is also serpentine shaped. The arm supports and legs are spiral-turned and carved; the legs terminate in brass casters. Construction: four triangular corner blocks nailed at corners of seat; top of arm support is round tenoned into curved portion of arm; arm consists of two units--flattened end and curved end.
