Description H/26 3/4”; W/21”. Vertically striped brown & black silk with horizontal overshot satin banding. High round neckline with no collar. Front closure with 20 hoks (19 steel, 1 brass) & 19 steel eyes plus 1 fabric eye. Dropped shoulders. Wide (not bell) sleeves & cuff openings. Sleeves lined with tan glazed cotton. Bodice lined with tan cotton, not boned. Straight waistline front & back. Skirt sewn directly to bodice. Box pleats. Slightly longer in back. Lined with tan glazed cotton. 1 pocket on right. Hem edged with black wool tape. Piped seams. Hand sewn.
