Description Tan waistcoat with a wool front. Attached shaped, stand-up collar, seven brass buttons on right side of front opening with seven bound button holes on left starting 4 3/4” down from neck and about 1 1/4” apart. Pockets on each side of front. Back made of cotton with two 5 13/16” attached plackets, each with four bound holes for a draw string to adjust the size. Draw string consists of 3/8” twill tape, probably cotton. Back is attached to the front with felled seams. Lining is cotton with buckram patches at top of shulders and small patch at bottom of side seam on right. Entirely hand sewn.
