Description Model of World War II aircraft P-38 molded in black plastic having cone-shaped nose, single wings extending from either side and below cockpit, twin engines ahead of the wings and tapering compartments behind which are connected and form a single tail but with double rudders. Details are either molded or incised into the model and include windows, baffles, rudders, stabilizers, bomb compartments, landing gear, etc. A hole is drilled through the center section to accept a string for hanging as the model was used to train Army Air Corps personnel in plane identification during WW II.
