Description Straight-sided mug with turned base. Painted decoration of red asterisks in blue lattice with green crosses at intersections all on a white ground. The rim is bordered with a pattern of blue triangles pointed downward with vertical red lines between the points and shorter ones within the triangles. The ear-shaped strap handle has rounded edges and is slightly concave on interior and exterior. It has painted blue lines which extend over the terminal which is folded and indented in the center. Beneath the handle is a motif of 5 graduated horizonal and one vertical red lines. The turned base is decorated with light and darker blue banding. The body is a finely grained pinkish buff clay; the opaque lead glaze is white with a greenish cast. The bottom is slightly concave with a narrow edge.
