Description A teapot with lid of earthenware, pearlware, painted in colors, unmarked, c. 1810. The teapot has a diamond shaped body decorated with brown cross hatches in four rows. Along the top, the teapot is decorated with brown ovals with blue centers. The upper rim is notched with an uncommon blue edged border with embossed green leaves. The lid has a swan finial commonly found on tea sets. A sherd with this pattern was discovered archaeologically at the Yeaton Walsh House.
