Description 1: Dress. Cotton printed with large blue branches with oak-like leaves on white ground with vertical tan banding. Round fitted piped neckline. Front closure with 12 brass hooks & eyes inside ecru linen lining inside bodice. Darts. Bodice gathered in front & back center. Piped waistline straight in front, dips slightly in front center. Attached separate skirt gathered throughout under waistline. Long bishop sleeves with dropped shoulders gathered at top of piped arm holes. 2 layers of gathered ruffles at wide opening. 2: Underskirt. Same fabric. Straight waistband, tightly gathered under waistband. Closure with 2 brass hooks & eyes as well as 2 thread loops also in line with brass hooks. 5 seams. Hand sewn throughout.
