Object Name Chest of Drawers

Place of Origin Boston, MA
Description Oak, pine, maple, possibly Cedrela odorata (Spanish cedar). Chest of drawers with traces of red paint. Chest appears to have eight drawers but has only four; others are suggested by panels and moldings. There are two vertical panels and one horizontal panel on the two sides of the chest. The chest has flattened ball feet in front and stiles that continue as feet to the floor at the back. Cast brass drop handles are on both sides of the four drawers.
