Description 51 1/2”. Cotton. One piece summer dress of white with a pink and rose floral print. The bodice top is an almost off the shoulder oval neckline trimmed with a small band of puffing and piping. The bodice front is gathered at the top but descends to a V-waist with shirring. The bodice back has a 13 hook & eye closure. Both the front and back are reinforced with stays. The sleeves are narrow with ten button closures on each cuff. The buttons are crocheted covered metal with a center star design. The sleeve tops have lined caps with puffed edging. The skirt is gathered and has three tiers of gathered ruffling. The skirt back is open, possibly for a bustle. There could be a bow missing. All seams are trimmed in piping. The bodice is lined in white muslin and has quilted dress shields sewn into the lining.
