Description 7 3/4 x 6 1/4”; 3” (diameter of rim). Stoneware. Puzzle jug with a cream-colored stoneware body and a salt glaze. The body is pear-shaped with a hollow ring neck. The neck has three spouts with air holes under two, and one air hole under the handle. The body below is pierced by six sets of holes in a triangular arrangment. The false bottom is pierced by two reeded hollow tubes and one hole. The tubes extend through the vessel side and become twisted handles. The handle terminals are six-petalled flowers with three leaves.
