Object Name Ring, Mourning

Description A gold and black enamel mourning ring commemorating the death of Mesach Weare. Band contains the following inscription of “M Weare.OB:14 JAN 1786:AE 73” . The setting is shaped like a coffin that contains a drawing of a skeleton. The ring has a wooden case covered in leather that is not original to the ring.
